Dr. Sandhu earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer, India, and completed a residency in anesthesia at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh. After moving to the United States she completed a second anesthesia residency and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the University of Pittsburgh. She is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, still practices as an anesthesiologist two days a week, and has over a decade of aesthetics experience.
